December 21 – December 27 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: Christmas

For this week’s Come Follow Me Lesson, focus on the Christmas story. We have provided 12 Nativity Pieces you can use in several ways. Use one of our ideas or come up with your own.

Put the nativity pieces on popsicle sticks, magnets, or transfer paper for felt and let the children use them to tell the story of Christmas.

Use the nativity pieces with names on them. Punch a hole in the top and tie string around it to make a name tag. Assign everyone a character to play and act out the Christmas story as a family.

On the back of the nativity pieces write a Christmas song (suggestions can be found on the lesson summary page). Let each person choose a piece one at a time, sing the song, and let that person add the character to the nativity.

Use the Scripture Story Guide to study about the Christmas story in the scriptures.

Let each person make a Christmas Ornament. Discuss what you’ve learned throughout the year from the Book of Mormon.
