March 29 – April 4 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: Easter

We have multiple Come Follow Me subscriptions and multiple activities in each subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help achieve our goal.

Come Follow Me Toddler Activity

Learn about the last week of Christ’s life. Teach that after Christ died he was Resurrected! Learn the primary song “Did Jesus Really Live Again?” by using the song chart provided in the lesson materials. You can let your child point to the pictures as you sing.

Simplified Come Follow Me Activity

Use the “Resurrection Eggs” to learn more about the true meaning of Easter. Put the strip of paper and a corresponding object in each egg. For added fun, hide the eggs and let the kids find them. Then open each egg, read the strip of paper and discuss the object.

Standard Come Follow Me Activities

The Standard Activities includes the Simplified activity and more!

This week’s lesson is structured differently. There is an activity each day to celebrate Holy Week, the last week of Christ’s life. This week’s activities start on Sunday March 28th and go through Sunday April 4th.

Monday, learn about Christ cleansing the temple. Read Matthew 21:12-17. Use the “Temple Is A House Of Prayer Printable” to teach that temples are sacred and should be treated reverently and with respect. Show a picture of a temple near year and share about the importance of the temple in your life.

Thursday, teach about Christ suffering in Gethsemane. Read Matthew 26 and sing “God Loved Us So He Sent His Son.” Let the children do the Gethsemane Sticker Scene to create Gethsemane while watching the video “The Savior Suffers in Gethsemane.” There are QR codes for the sticker paper, song, and video on your lesson page.
