August 29 – September 4 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: The Fear of the Lord Is the Beginning of Wisdom

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

This week activities focus on Families being together forever, trusting in God, and speaking kind words.

  1. Complete a jigsaw puzzle together as an object lesson and color the coloring page as you teach and discuss about when a loved one dies it feels like a piece of us is missing. But our families can be together forever in Heaven.
  2. Talk about all of the emotions and feelings we can experience. You can make faces or role play to go along with the emotions (ex happy face, sad face, etc). Make the “my feelings flower jar” and talk about each feeling.
  3. Play a fun game of hide and seek and then teach that Heavenly Father is always there and we can trust him with all our heart (Proverbs 3:7). Make a heart shaped bird feeder as a fun craft and reminder of what you’ve discussed.
