December 26 – January 1 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: We Are Responsible for Our Own Learning

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

1. Help your child understand the difference between The Bible and The Book of Mormon. Hold up each book and help them recite the 8th Article of Faith. Ask them which book each one is and respond positively when they answer correctly.
2. As a family reenact the story in Matthew 4:18-22 about Jesus inviting Peter and the others to be fishers of men. Eat a fishy snack like blue jello with swedish fish. Then color the coloring page and hang it up for your child to see often.
3. Play or sing the song “Teach Me To Walk in the Light.” Talk about a few of the lines in the song. Create the silly face lightbulb craft together and let it be a reminder to walk in His light continually.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Dive Deep Journal

This week’s study is different than most. We’re trying to set you up for success by preparing your Dive Deep Journals with your family. You’ll need a regular sized notebook (10.5×8 in.) for each member of the family. Pick a cover and a quote to glue to your notebook. There is a question prompt and sticker for each week. You can glue them all in now or throughout the year. After your journals are finished you can read some of the quotes and scriptures from the manual as you color the coloring page.

Come Follow Me Teen Lessons

Each week the Come Follow Me Teen Lesson includes 4 discussion questions, a challenge, QR code to a video made by experienced Seminary teachers, and a scripture print to print off and display.
