  1. Teach your family about baptisms for the dead. Show a picture of a baptismal font in the temple while you read 1 Corinthians 15:12-13, 20-22, and 29. Let them color the coloring page as you explain that doing baptisms for the dead is just like when we get baptized for ourselves. You get to do baptisms for the dead when you have a temple recommend the year you turn 12.
  2. Read 1 Corinthians 15:40-41 and explaining the scripture in simple terms for your children to understand. Show your children the sun, star, and moon. Explain the three degrees of glory and that we want to make it to the celestial kingdom. Make the headbands as you sing the song “I am a Child of God.”
  3. Read 1 Corinthians 14:33 and talk about the difference between peace and confusion. In your discussion point out that peace comes from God and confusion comes from Satan. Help your children with the Mr. Peace and Mr. Confusion scenarios and placing them in the correct bag.
