Come Follow Me Lessons & Activities for Kids Lesson 34 | August 19-25 | Alma 53-63
Have you ever been through a difficult trial you felt would never end? While we often must wait for answers to prayers, we can rely on our family and friends to help us and point us towards Jesus Christ. Years of fighting between Lamanites and Nephites must have weighed heavily on Moroni, Healaman, and Pahoran. Their relationship was critical for supporting each other during this troubling period.
As your family goes through this week’s lesson, be prepared to share experiences from your life that have strengthened you and helped you stay firm in the faith, no matter how difficult or how long the trial.
This week’s Come Follow Me FHE lessons teaches principles straight from the scriptures. They include everything you need to make Come, Follow Me fun for your kids! Join our membership for only $10 a month, and you’ll gain access to a treasure trove of resources to strengthen your family’s spiritual foundation and growth.

See our Go & Do page for details.

Toddler Bundle Lessons & Activities
For kids ages 1-4 at home and in nursery or sunbeams. The toddler bundle Includes a full lesson plan with THREE activities that align with scripture written by an early childhood educator. These include a coloring page, another printable activity, and a movement activity that helps young children understand the scriptures. Here are a couple of highlights from this week’s lesson.
Calming Down as Peacemakers
Go & Do Activity
Teach your child about Pahoran’s example and his reaction when he was accused of not helping Moroni when he needed it. Pahoran chose not to be angry at what Moroni had written to him. Read Alma 61:9. Ask your child, “Have you ever been angry when someone said you did something you didn’t?” You could provide them relevant examples like a time when a sibling got upset that his special toy was taken but it wasn’t you who took it. Ask, “How did that make you feel?” Talk about how it’s important to control our anger especially when there are misunderstandings involved. Play the “Animal Calm Down Cards” with your child while giving them strategies they can use to soften their anger. Draw one card at a time and have them do a similar action to what that animal would do.
The toddler bundle includes a lesson plan and three activities every week. Grab the toddler bundle in our subscription.
