Come Follow Me Lessons & Activities for Kids Lesson 45 | November 4-10 | Mormon 7-9
For the first time, we meet Moroni, the son of the prophet Mormon and one of the last remaining Nephites in the land. After sharing the final words of his father, Moroni testifies of Christ and teaches of the purpose of the Book of Mormon. Like his father, Moroni was committed to following the instruction of the Lord to complete the record of his people.
Moroni knew that the Book of Mormon would be hidden up and revealed in our day. “I speak unto you as if ye were present,” he said, writing these words to each of us, “but behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing” (Mormon 8:35). When we read the Book of Mormon, the efforts of centuries worth of commandment-keeping prophets are in our hands.
This week’s Come Follow Me FHE lessons teaches these principles from the scriptures themselves. Each lesson includes everything you need to make Come, Follow Me fun for your kids! THIS WEEK’S COME FOLLOW ME HIGHLIGHTS
Elementary Bundle Lessons & Activities
This week, teach your children the chapters of Alma 43-52. You will find an activity book for your children (one for ages 3-6 and one for ages 7+). Print your activity book pages, then cut all of them in half, except the cover. You will fold the cover in half to help keep the pages together. Put all your pages in order inside the cover and then staple along the left-hand edge to keep it together. Make one book for each of your children (see lesson for details).
Dare to Do Right
Go & Do Activity
Practice following Moroni’s example of being obedient to the commandments in Mormon 8:1, 3. Help your child see that they can do what is right even if they feel alone. Play the Truth or Dare card game to practice real-life situations with your family. End your night singing “Dare To Do Right,” (Children’s Songbook, pg. 158).
Together to Testify
Scripture Activity
Together, the Book of Mormon and the Bible both testify of Jesus Christ. Read Mormon 7:8-10 and emphasize to your children how knowing stories of the Bible helps strengthen our testimonies of the Book of Mormon. Grab some colored pencils and use the Scripture Stencils to study stories and highlight the similarities of each testament of Christ.
Twin Testaments
Surprise Activity
The Book of Mormon and the Bible goes together like peanut butter and jelly! Mormon 7:8-10 teaches us that even though these records were written in two different parts of the world, they both testify of Christ. Find a muffin tin to play the “We Go Together Like…” game helping your family understand the need for both testaments of Christ.

Toddler Bundle Lessons & Activities
For kids ages 1-4 at home and in nursery or sunbeams.
This week, we’ll be sharing the gospel with your little ones using the activity book in the Elementary Bundle. Be sure to use the activity book for younger children (Level 1, Recommended for ages 3-6). Print your activity book pages, then cut all of them in half, except the cover. You will fold the cover in half to help keep the pages together. Put all your pages in order inside the cover and then staple along the left-hand edge. Make one book for each of your children.
Miracle Snapshot Camera
Hands-On Activity
If people had cameras during Christ’s time on Earth, what would we have pictures of Him doing? Help your child think about this concept by showing your child a camera. Say, “This is a camera. We use it to take pictures of special moments.” Scroll through your camera or photo album to show your child some special moments you have captured of them. Discuss possible pictures we would have of Christ during His time on Earth. Explain how we would probably see Him performing many miracles. Say, “A miracle is a special moment where God shows His power or blesses us.” Encourage them to make connections by sharing experiences of miracles you have seen God manifest in your life. Maybe the way your child came into the world is a miracle itself! Read Mormon 8:24. Make the Miracle Snapshot Camera slider with your child and discuss some of the miracles Jesus performed. On the final image on the film strip, let them draw their own special moment or miracle they have seen from Jesus. Maybe He helps them to not feel scared in the dark, or to be brave when they have to get shots at the doctor. Once they’re finished, let them slide the film through the camera lens and retell about each image. Afterward, go for a walk outside or look around your home and help your child snap pictures of miracles right in front of them!
The toddler bundle includes a lesson plan and three activities every week. Grab the toddler bundle in our subscription.
