The Rise Of The Church Of Christ

Come Follow Me Lessons & Activities for Kids

Week 10 | March 1 - March 7

We have multiple Come Follow Me subscriptions and multiple activities in each subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help achieve our goal.

Come Follow Me Toddler Activity

Talk about what it means to be on a team (all work together to accomplish a goal and improve the team). You could even show a team jersey if you have one or use a picture of one. Show a picture of Jesus Christ and teach that we become part of His team when join the church by being baptized. As part of his team we follow His example and share the gospel with others. Use the “Playdough Mats” as a fun activity. Place the page in a plastic sheet protector or cover with plastic wrap on a table. Recreate the images by pressing the playdough onto the mats.

With our busy lives, it can be too easy to think we have to have the strength to do it all ourselves: getting kids up and ready for school, working long hours, doing laundry and dishes, making meals, planning activities, fulfilling callings, and so on. We will become burned out from life if we trust only ourselves to make everything happen.

“Jesus Christ Will Gather His People”

Between activities like school, work, and even church callings, we can easily get caught up in being so busy that we forget what it’s all for. No matter what we do for our family, what matters most is “why” we have our family: to live together forever in love and joy. Our Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation is how we can make that happen.

“All Things Must Be Done in Order”

No family is perfect. Not every situation includes two loving parents and children who always are ready to obey. Realistically, our families might look like something far from that image. However, through the teachings of modern prophets, we know the Lord wouldn’t have it any other way. Through our dedication to His restored gospel, every family, no matter the shape or size, can have eternal blessings.
