Week 45 | October 31 - November 6

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Learn more about the blessings that come when we follow the teachings of Jesus.

  1. Tell the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3. Listen to this song while you color the coloring page and talk about people you know who have followed chosen to follow Jesus even when it was difficult.
  2. Tell the story in Daniel 1 about Daniel and his friends choosing not to eat the King’s meat. We can make good choices to feed our bodies healthy food. Play the matching game and talk about your favorite healthy foods.
  3. Make a lion mask and role play the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den. Share your testimony that Heavenly Father protects us when we choose the right and follow the teachings of the gospel.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:

Read the story in Daniel 1:1-17. Talk about why Daniel didn’t eat of the Kings meat and how he was blessed. Make the Daniel box and take turns feeding him good food.

Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:

Read the story in Daniel 6. Discuss how important it is to pray. Set a goal to pray everyday for a month. Use the prayer charts to help you keep track of your goal.

Abraham lived a life of violence and peace, of trauma and healing, and of promises and faith. Through every trial, Abraham trusted in the Lord and chose to follow Him even when his world was at its darkest. He was rewarded with a covenant that encompasses all of God’s children and will last into the eternities. This covenant and its blessings are extended to our families today.
